The 1937 Colonial Revival style movie house in downtown Lexington, Virginia received upgrades in late summer and early fall of 2019.

Rockbridge Flooring Professionals, LLC was awarded the bid to replace the flooring in all three auditoriums, starting with the main auditorium on August 15.

The upstairs auditoriums are created from the former balcony seating above the main auditorium. The renovation of those auditoriums began September 30.

R/C State Theatres chose Shaw Contract products. Terrain II in “lark” was the luxury vinyl selection and Bright Work Shine in “spark” was the carpet tile selection.

Behind our crew came the installation crew for the new leather recliners. Their work concluded in time for an October 18th opening of all three auditoriums and the new Disney film, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
