1. Who is Rockbridge Flooring & More?

We are Rockbridge Flooring & More, the trade name of Rockbridge Flooring Professionals, LLC—an installer-owned flooring, kitchen, and bath showroom based in Lexington, Virginia. Since our founding in 2003 by James W. Higgins, we’ve grown from a local flooring installation company into a full-service remodeling business specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, and more.

2. What types of products and services do you offer?

We provide a wide variety of home improvement services and products, including:

  • Flooring: luxury vinyl, laminate, carpet, ceramic and porcelain tile, and both solid and engineered hardwood. We carry trusted brands like Anderson Tuftex, Karastan, Mohawk, Shaw, COREtec, Stonepeak, and many others.
  • Kitchen & Bath Remodeling: custom cabinetry, countertops (quartz, granite, butcher block), sinks, faucets, bathtubs, and more.
  • Custom Rugs & Stair Runners: choose from in-stock, made-to-order, or bound-to-fit options.
  • Commercial Installations: we serve schools, churches, banks, hotels, restaurants, and other local businesses.
  • Design Services: we offer in-house kitchen and bath design support, including 3D design assistance for kitchen remodels.

Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

We are fully licensed and insured, and we proudly maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Our team holds certifications such as:

  • PERGO® Laminate Endorsed Installer
  • EPA Certified Lead Dust Sampling Technician
  • EPA Certified Lead Renovation Firm
  • International Certified Flooring Installer: Carpet Residential I–II, Commercial I–II

5. Do you offer installation?

Yes—we offer professional installation for all the products we sell. As an installer-owned company, we handle everything in-house, which means you work directly with our experienced team throughout the entire process. This often saves you both time and money.

6. What if I’m looking for work (subcontracting or employment)?

We’re always looking to grow our team. If you’re an experienced installer in carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl, or tile, we’d love to hear from you. We offer both subcontractor and payroll positions. Give us a call at 540‑464‑4616 to apply.

7. What areas do you serve?

We serve clients within a 50-mile radius of Lexington, VA, including residential and commercial projects.

8. What’s your policy on refunds and special orders?

Our goal is to ensure every installation meets manufacturer warranty guidelines and exceeds your expectations. That said:

  • Special-order items are non-refundable.
  • A 20% restocking fee applies to returned in-stock materials.

11. Do you offer design consultations?

Yes—we offer complimentary design consultations for full kitchen remodels, including 3D renderings. Our in-house designer is also available for bath projects and other spaces.

Absolutely. We’ve completed commercial installations for schools, banks, healthcare offices, churches, hospitality venues, and more.
